What Is EPG?
EPG means Electronic Programme Guide. It shows current and upcoming programmes beside live channels.
Without EPG, channels may still play, but browsing becomes harder because you only see channel names.
Why EPG Stops Loading
EPG can fail because the app cache is stale, the guide source is missing, the playlist was refreshed incorrectly, or the provider guide is temporarily unavailable.
Older devices may also take longer to process very large guide files.
Force an EPG Refresh
Open the app settings and look for refresh EPG, update TV guide, reload playlist, or clear cache. Then restart the app.
Give the app time to rebuild the guide before assuming the refresh failed.
Popular Apps and MAG Boxes
In IPTV Smarters, refresh TV guide or clear cache. In TiviMate, check that the EPG source is assigned to the playlist. In Kodi, restart the PVR IPTV Simple Client.
On MAG boxes, restart the portal and confirm the portal URL is correct.
When to Contact Support
If live channels work but guide data is missing on every device, support may need to check the EPG source.
Send the app name, device, username, and whether live channels still play.
